DRAGON HEAD
DESIGN-ASSISTANT EXAM
After the first half of our 2-year specialization at the academy, we had a practical exam for our Design Assistant degree. We were given several 3D models as references and tasked with creating a 1:1 copy of one of them, followed by painting it. This was the result of my exam.
The examiners told me that the sculpt itself was graded as a 1 (grade A in the US), but my presentation and rendering were lacking, which lowered my overall grade. At the time, I used ZBrush’s default rendering options. Later, I revisited the project and re-rendered it in Marmoset, and this is how it turned out.
